Graduate Student I have just completed my first year of graduate study. Broadly, I am interested in the real-world ramifications of group membership for both ingroup and outgroup members. Currently, I am working on a model of policy endorsement through an analysis of blame and emotion. A new Jersey girl born and bred, I ventured as far as Connecticut for my undergraduate years at Yale University. Despite this strong attachment to the northeast, I absolutely love to travel, and sneak away every chance I get. My electic international travel and volunteer experiences have greatly informed and enriched my interests as a social psychologist. The charms of UCLA, however, induced me to give up both my vagabond, backpacker lifestyle and the bone-chilling northeast winters I have always known. I'm excited to be getting the scientific training to address the questions that have fascinated me for so long.
