Graduate Student

My research interest is broadly focused on understanding the causes and consequences of social injustice. I am particularly interested in exploring how dominant and subordinate group members' perceptions of legitimacy shape their attitudes toward social change.

I was born and raised most of my life in a small town near Yosemite National Park (in California). As one can imagine, this has had a major influence on the types of activities I enjoy- I love the outdoors and, in my free time, try to stay as active as I can. Though I am the product of a (very) small town, I love Los Angeles and, along with my fiance and three cats, consider the bustling city that is Los Angeles home.
